about

Years ago, I remember looking at a blank window running on my screen and realizing that controlling pixels natively was pure engineering freedom. There was something incredibly clean about writing logic that worked out of the box, entirely independent of the massive external networks we download today just to display simple text.

Then, like a lot of programmers, I wandered away. I spent a long decade navigating the endless churn of the modern web layer—wrestling with breaking changes in frontend bundlers, tracking down phantom leaks inside gargantuan dependency directories, and tweaking complex client-side hydration layouts. It felt like moving further and further away from the machine.

So I stepped off the treadmill. Today I build software with the same mindset that made me fall in love with programming in the first place: small binaries, predictable systems, native rendering and complete control over the runtime.

writing

I write about systems programming, backend engineering, software architecture, rendering, operating systems and the philosophy of building software with fewer abstractions.
